The latest in our series of relationship insights are those girls who really can’t get over their ex

Ladies, are you finding it a little bit difficult to move past your ex partner? Then you are not the only one. According to recent research only 30% of us stay friends with our exes, but that doesn’t stop some of us from retaining quite the interest in our former partner.

A recent study revealed that a 22% of British women ‘stalk’ their ex’s social media pages using fake profiles – how else are they going to know what funny memes or videos they are sharing? Or scroll through their photos, drinking copious amounts of wine and crying along to Celine Dion records.

Speaking of drinking too much wine, a fifth of women admitted to calling or testing their ex partner when drunk and then reretting it later. Ladies, that is why your mobil shoeuld be locked away in an intricately locked safe late at niht when you have been drinking. Just so you don’t send those long ‘it was true love’ texts that are barely legible because you can’t even see the letters, never mind write something coherrent.

Luckily, there is some strong women out there, with 18% admitting they had been tempted to contact their ex, but have managed to resist the urge. In addition, to help them move on with their lives, 50% of women will cut all online ties with their ex and will not contact them again. Way to go ladies, sitting at home, sobbing into one of his old T-shirts is definitely not healthy, go do something that makes you feel ood about yourself instead!!
