I Wanna Sext You Up
Thanks to the digital age, we are all flirting a lot more often and with a lot more confidence. Whether we are getting our flirt on in chat rooms, being a bit naughty via social media, or using our mobile phones to get frisky, we are all at it! However, because it is so easy to flirt, it is also so easy to over-step the mark and take things too far too early on.
Sexting is the art of sending sexually charged messages to that special someone, and it is a great way to get a good flirtation going. It’s a way to get comfortable with someone on a sexual level before taking things further. If all the signs are good, you can take your sweet, flirty texts to the next level by mentioning your turn-ons and secret fantasies. If the reciprocation continues, then you can move on to describe what you would like to do to each other, just don’t go too weird.
If you are still unsure of the general sexting etiquette follow these few little tips to keep you on the right track…
- Meet in the real world before you sext – Sexting with someone you have met online may seem like a bit of a thrill, but how do you know where your messages are going. For all you know you could be sending sexually explicit messages to someone just out of short trousers, until his mum finds out and reports you to the Police. An extreme case maybe, but you should be wary, the internet is a weirdo’s paradise.
- Check who your sexting, not once but twice – Is there anything worse than that feeling of dread when you have sent a rather risque text to the wrong person…even worse if it turns out you have sent it to your mum or dad. Check and double check where it is going to avoid some awkward family dinners.
- Delete your sextual escapades – You never know what may happen to your phone, so even though you may want to save your naughty little exchanges, if you lose your phone, you may also lose your privacy and dignity.
- Keep any photographs anonymous – I know I have said it many times, but beware when sending nude photographs to your sexting partner. Can you really 100% trust them not to share them with their friends or the entire world, via the internet. If you really do want to send some naked pictures, always crop out the face so you can deny, deny, deny if they do end up in the wrong hands.
