Men are not best known for sharing their feelings, unless it comes to sport or action movies. So it can be difficult to know what they are thinking. It’s the 21st century so women are now encouraged to take the lead and approach a guy, but what does the guy think about it? Well a poll by Your Tango has found that there was a number of different opinions.

So, here is what guys think when approached by a girl…

• The Confidence Is Sexy – It takes a good deal of courage to approach someone in a bar, the gym etc and show your interest. Some men find that level of confidence a turn on and if you have great conversation too, that’s the icing on the cake.

• Intimidation – Some men find it difficult to talk to women and need time to build up their confidence. So to be confronted with a woman approaching him, he is bound to be a little bit intimidated and put of his game. The real him wont shine through.

• I’m The Man – The more chauvinistic of men will always want to be the one who does the approaching. He will hate the thought of a woman having one up on him, because that’s the way he thinks. He probably isn’t worth approaching anyway.

• Bring It On – Many guys really do think it’s cool when a girl approaches them, they don’t necessarily want to do all of the chasing. They want the girl to make the first move for a change.
