Most Women Flirt To Get What They Want

It might come as no surprise that more than half the women in the UK admit to flirting to get what they want, or to get their own way. But, what might surprise is that a fifth of women admit to flirting at work to get their way.

A survey of 2000 people, commissioned by Confused.com, also found that 39% of male managers admitted to employing a female based on their level of attractiveness, with 20% of men saying they had gone one to have a romantic relationship with someone they had employed. Additionally, 57% of employers admitted that they gave preferential treatment to the employees they found most attractive.

When it comes to the road, attractiveness is a key factor in determining our kindest. 42% of men said that they are more likely to give way to an attractive motorist, with 16% of women admitting the same.

Shanon Flaherty, a spokesperson for confused said “So much focus nowadays is placed on how women can be seen as equals in the workplace without gender coming into play. But our results show that despite this, many women will turn to their feminine whiles to help themselves get ahead…it seems that women aren’t afraid to turn to gender at some point or other as a means of benefit.”
